GEORGETOWN
Let's start with where we call Home, Georgetown, TX. We moved here in December 2000 and have seen a lot of change and growth in 22 1/2 years. Georgetown's population when we moved here was 28,603 and today we have a population of 92,161. There was 1 High School, 2 Middle Schools, and just a handful of elementary schools. The historic downtown has gone through several rotations of high's and low's, but today I would say is Georgetown's best downtown we have seen! It has won the title as Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. If you are not from Texas than you may not know that Texas is known for our small town squares, a square piece of land in the middle of downtown where people gather for community gatherings, festivals, or markets, and are often surrounded by local boutique style shops, antique stores and restaurants. The town square is the heart of our towns and in most county seats the Historic County Court House sits in the middle of the square like the Williamson County Court House in Georgetown. Georgetown is where it is Hip to be Square these days, so get Hip and come along our Georgetown Gallivant!
New Braunfels
Michael's hometown, New Braunfels, TX. Michael was born in the local hospital and lived here his whole childhood. His family still live here.
Grapevine
Cherie's hometown, Grapevine, TX. I wasn't born here like Michael was his hometown and didn't live here my whole childhood. We moved to Grapevine when I was going into 5th grade and consider it my hometown as most of my childhood and teenage memories are here.
